Grand Mercure Nelson Monaco offers well-appointed accommodation for up to 215 guests in boutique hotel rooms, along with a range of self-contained apartment accommodation including one-bedroom studios, one-bedroom spa cottages and two-bedroom cottages.
Our beautifully furnished cottages are the main feature of the hotel creating a welcoming village feel.
Each cottage is uniquely furnished with French doors that open either onto the Village Green, the stream, or your own private courtyard.
The hotel itself has 20 boutique rooms, all fully refurbished and redecorated in 2015.
A stunning lobby welcomes you, enclosed by a timber-beamed ceiling. It’s a quiet place to have a relaxing drink in the evening, looking out to scenic views across the Monaco Peninsula, the Waimea Inlet and the Kahurangi Mountain range beyond.
The resort is built from handmade bricks and timber salvaged from the Nelson Wharf which was built in 1842; both our hotel and cottages are quaint in character and luxurious to stay in.
