The Grand Mercure Nelson Monaco is constructed from handmade bricks and timber salvaged from the Nelson Wharf, which was built in 1842.

The hotel and cottages are set around private pedestrian-friendly roads and a village green. You will find a number of businesses on High Street, our fabulous restaurant The Monaco Kitchen overlooking the Waimea Estuary and our gymnasium and spa at the rear of the property, adjacent to our conference and wedding venues.
